Primary Schools

Construction for roofing replacement will take place at Boeckman Creek Primary during the summer of 2027. The design process for this work will begin as early as the summer of 2026.

The summer 2027 construction project at Boones Ferry Primary includes renovating existing spaces for:

• robotics center
• mechanical equipment replacement
• fire alarm system replacement
• restroom renovation
• accessible sidewalk expansion
• sidewalk replacement.

Lowrie Primary is scheduled to receive accessible playground improvements during the summer of 2027. The design process for this work will begin as early as the summer of 2026.

Willamette Primary is scheduled to receive accessible playground improvements during the summer of 2027. The design process for this work will begin as early as the summer of 2026. 

Facilities Stewardship: Building Refresh Projects

Construction at Willamette Primary includes interior and exterior finishes replacements and light renovation. Construction began in June, with substantial completion expected in August before teachers and school staff return.

Recent Activities:

• Abatement and environmental services work
• Demolition
• Wall framing and door installation
• Plumbing and electrical rough-in

• Interior refresh including select painting, flooring and furniture replacement  

• Maximized dedicated classrooms and student support spaces by repurposing underutilized space and centralizing the workroom   

• Exterior refresh including select painting and concrete repair.

Upcoming Activities:

• All work expected to be complete before the start of school.
