Districtwide Projects

This project will roll out in phases across the District and include a wide array of capital curriculum purchases. The primary
purpose of these purchases is to reduce the financial burden of timely curriculum updates on the general fund.

Facilities Stewardship: Demolition

Demolition of three district-owned residential buildings will occur during the summer of 2026. Removal of unused structures reduces utility and maintenance costs and improves safety. The two residential buildings across from West Linn High School are located on land that is targeted for additional parking as part of the bond program. The CREST program has relocated to the Stafford Campus, which is central to the District and in better physical condition.

The project is in design, with demolition expected this fall. Abatement work to begin in the coming days. Abatement is
performed by certified professionals with professional third party monitoring as required.

Safe and Welcoming Schools

This project will roll out in phases across the District and include a wide array of safety & security improvements.

Recent Activities:

• Access control credentials selected
• Draft plans for primary school fencing improvements
• Begin select access control (West Linn High School, Trillium Creek Primary School, Frog Pond Primary School)

Upcoming Activities:

• Training for access control at initial locations
• Finalize plans for next primary school fencing improvements
• Begin district-wide access control design

Facilities Stewardship

This project will roll out in phases across the District and include a wide array of furniture, fixtures and equipment to
support the schools, programs and district. Two of the primary purposes of equipment replacement is to improve employee efficiency and to reduce the financial burden of repairing aging equipment using general fund money.

Recent Activities:

• Replace select gymnasium equipment at multiple schools
• Replace aging grounds equipment to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs including mowers and blowers
• Purchase new grounds equipment to improve efficiency including skid steer, wood chipper and roller
• Replace aging maintenance equipment to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs fork lift
• Purchase new maintenance equipment to improve efficiency and safety including articulating lift and fork lift
• Replace aging custodial equipment to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs including vacuums and scrubbers
• Replace aging maintenance vehicles equipment to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs

Upcoming Activities:

• Review Student services equipment needs including health room cots, changing tables, and medication storage carts
• Develop summer 2027 furniture replacement plan

Learning with Technology

This project will roll out in phases across the District and includes a wide array of infrastructure and devices that support
student learning.

Recent Activities:

• 2026 Chromebook purchase
• Cameras for video monitoring purchased and received
• Camera installation well underway
• Copy machine replacement orders
• Research into systems and devices for future phases

Upcoming Activities:

• Deploy Chromebooks across the District
• Complete camera installation
• Complete copy machine replacement
• Research into systems and devices for future phases

Perimeter access control will be implemented across district schools and buildings beginning in the summer of 2026 and continuing in the summer of 2027. Building access control increases safety and security for students and staff and improves community access outside of school hours.
