The West Linn-Wilsonville School District is opening a new third high school starting in the 2023-24 school year. The new high school will be located on the current Athey Creek Middle School site at 2900 SW Borland Road and will serve as an option for all high school students in the district.

The district's new third high school is planned to be a four-year comprehensive high school for grades 9-12, including core academic subject areas, co-curricular activities, access to OSAA athletics, performing and visual arts, clubs, and all of the opportunities that students have at the district's existing high schools.
 
The third high school will be a four-year comprehensive high school centering in three new CTE (Career and Technical Education) pathway options in the areas of:
  • Health Occupations
  • Business and Marketing
  • Construction and Architecture

The new school will be an option for any interested student in the district and will help alleviate overcrowding at West Linn and Wilsonville high schools. The School Board will select a name for the third high school during the 2021-22 school year, and the 2022-23 school year will be used to plan for the opening of the school.
